He is a guy that can walk in a room full of strangers and come out with nicknames and handshakes with all of them because he is so good at making friends with people. Whenever you need something, whether it’s something big or something as small as being available to vent or call any time of the night D’Mario will do it without ever complaining or expecting anything is return. D’Mario’s creativity from the creative lunches he use to bring back in Elementary school, his rhyming skills in high school and college, and to now his impactful Spoken Words, He has always been a guy who can think of things on the fly whether funny, or in a time of comfort. D’Mario always finds a way to shine in these moments. A great person and friend to many, and a brother I call my own regardless of blood I am very blessed to have him in my life!

The very first thing you notice about D’Mario is his spirit. He is the kind of person who lights up the room when he walks in. Conscious of the realities many people of color are facing in this country. He has chosen to utilize his platform to amplify issues like: gun violence, police brutality, education and the impacts of poverty. It is truly inspiring to watch him pour his heart out on stage, and witness the impact his spirit has on our community.
